Supported by the Diocese of Sioux City, Holy Spirit Retirement Home is proud to be a faith-based community. Spiritual life is a vital part of our overall care approach. Our facility offers residents the convenience of an on-site chapel, with Mass held Monday – Friday and Sunday at 10:30 am under the spiritual guidance of Fr. Mark Stoll and daily praying of the Rosary. Upon resident request, pastors and church leaders may also be contacted to offer spiritual support to individual residents.
Holy Spirit offers the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Anointing of the Sick at scheduled times and other times upon request. In addition, Holy Spirit provides additional spiritual activities including Adoration, Stations of the Cross, Holy Week Liturgies, Advent services and May Crowning.
Residents of all religious affiliations are welcome to attend daily Mass or visit the chapel for prayer and reflection. Protestant communion service is available on the fourth Thursday of the month at 3 pm with Protestant services held on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month at 3:30 pm.
Family and friends of Holy Spirit are always welcome to join us for Mass or any of our special services. God bless each of you ~ The Holy Spirit Spiritual Team
